記事にも書きましたが、たしかに大きな話題になったものの、iPS細胞の研究だから取り上げられた感があり、研究不正としては一報だけです。とはいえ、擁護するつもりはありません。
任期付助教の方の不正であり、雇用の不安定さとの関連性を考えてしまいますが、実際のところは分りません。Yahoo!ニュース個人の記事でも、あえて突っ込みませんでした
iPS細胞研究所だからといって何も特別なことはないということだと思います。ことさらに叩くのは意味がありません。
問題は、研究不正はどこでも起こりうるし、減らすことはできても予防はできないということです。発生したあとの対応が重要です。
どの研究機関でも、うちは関係ないと思わず、研究不正を減らすための努力と、発生後の対応をしていくべきであり、スケープゴートを叩くだけでは何の解決策にもなりません。
